An earthquake hits southern Lebanon

Weather of Arabia - Residents of the Lebanese coastal areas, especially the people of the cities of Sidon and Tyre, felt a slight earthquake.

The Lebanese National Center for Geophysics affiliated to the National Council for Scientific Research “Bahnes Observatory” stated that at 19:42 pm on Saturday 11/03/2018, an earthquake measuring 3.8 degrees on the Richter scale struck the sea, about 33 km from Sidon beach.

It was felt by the residents of most of the southern regions and a number of other regions, including the Metn coast. North of the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
